Strategic Planning
Our team has experience developing a community makerspace by first building the community, starting and growing a nonprofit organization in North Carolina, training based on individuals' needs, and maintaining makerspace equipment

First
Our approach to strategic planning starts with learning about your needs. What are your goals? Let's identify your strengths, opportunities, and constraints.

We have helped other start-up makerspaces through developing a better set of questions and sharing our experience for context.
The Space
You have the physical space picked out, but how will you fit all of the equipment in to maximize possibility and minimize friction among users?

Our team includes experienced interior designers and makers who are familiar with how space impacts user experience in makerspaces.

Grow
How do you increase opportunities for growth?
Funding and revenue streams can be challenging, even for established makerspaces. Just as each maker community is unique, so are the opportunities for revenue.
Sometimes an understanding outside opinion can shed new light on new opportunities.
